Jig Size ??
I want people's opinion on what jigs size to use with a 5" Berkley Gulp Minow??
I brought some Walleye jigs with me when I moved to Florida. In the interest of try new things I tied on a M&M shaped jig headwith yellow and green colors and added a rootbeer colored tail. I emmediatly hooked up on a large sea trout and numerous jacks by slowly gragging it on the bottom. My supply is used up and I can't find the jig heads anymore. The hook eye is at the front and the M&M shaped lead head and has the eyes looking up. Does anyone know a supplier that carries this particulare style?
The Swim Jig has the eyelit coming out the front but the shape of the jig head sounds more slender. It is made to be swam or dragged in (as opposed to a vertical jig) maybe it would do the trick for you. Here is the direct link:
